Built in the Palladian Classicism style, the Eschenbach Palace or Palais Eschenbach was opened in 1872 by Emperor Franz Joseph I. The construction was done according to the plans of architect Otto Thienemann, and most of that original design has been preserved to date.  The ballroom is one of the key attractions of the venue due to its stunning wall and ceiling decor.  Eschenbach Palace has beautiful, classical acoustics and it is said that it provides splendid conditions for listening to Mozart's works.
